Simple HDR is a software application designed to facilitate the quick capture of a comprehensive set of bracketed 360° images. To utilize this tool effectively, a Ricoh Theta camera is required – specifically compatible with the Ricoh Theta m15 and Ricoh Theta S models.
Unlike other applications with similar functionalities, Simple HDR aims to streamline the process by offering users two distinct yet effective options. Through meticulous testing and analysis involving hundreds of images, the developers have endeavored to optimize the features of the Ricoh Theta cameras.
The application offers an Auto setting for prompt capture of three 360° images, spanning a 5-stop range in just 15 seconds. This setting is particularly suitable for indoor or mixed lighting scenarios. On the other hand, the Pro setting allows users to take up to 7 shots, covering a range of 12 stops, making it an ideal choice for outdoor scenes illuminated by bright daylight.
Once the image capture is complete, users can leverage programs such as Photoshop or other preferred HDR tools to craft immersive landscapes, lighting maps, or reflection maps.
Simple HDR provides an efficient and user-friendly solution for generating 360° HDR images swiftly and effectively.
